CHAPTER 2:The Meeting

Calm down,Jason.....Calm down.....

I told myself not to panic. I grabbed the amulet,held it tightly in my hand and dashed out Sky's room. I stood outside Sky's room and thought to myself quietly what should I do next. The first thing that came out of my mind was to tell Deadlox about this situation, who was Sky's closest friend and he will know what to do next. I ran to his room and banged on his door hardly.

'TY!? TYLER!? It's Jason here! Open the door!!!!' I shouted.

About a minute later, Deadlox opened the door. He looked as if he just woke up and he was slightly annoyed.  

'What the hell is wrong with you,Jason? Can't you just knocked the door gently ......' said Deadlox.

'I am sorry for what I did just now,but something emergency has happened.....'I said.

Deadlox sensed the seriousness on my tone and he calmed down a bit.

'What is it?' he asked quietly.

I explained the situation to him of what I found in Sky's room and I showed the amulet to him. 

'This is what I found on the bed....'I said.

Deadlox's eye widened( His right eye was covered by his hair so I can't see his right eye), he stood there for about a minute,thinking to himself.

'What should we do? Should we tell the team about his situation?'I asked.

'I think is better to tell the team about this as we need a plan and we can't do much right now.' said Deadlox. 

'You're right........let's call the team to meet at the meeting room right now.' I said.

'Ok, I will call them through the microphone, hold on a second....' He went back to his room. Later, I heard his voice booming over the speaker, telling the team to meet at the meeting room right now.After finished, he came out from his room.

'Alright, let's head to the meeting room now.' said Deadlox.

The meeting room was a big conference room with a long table in the middle of the room and a set of armed chairs surrounding the table. It includes a projector which produced HD quality pictures and videos, a large projector screen which almost covered half of the wall and a white board. All the facilities were designed elegantly and it got a nice sea view on the side of the room. Me and Deadlox were sitting two of the chairs,waiting for the rest to show up.During that time, I felt my hands were shaking and a bit hot. I looked at the amulet,which was now shimmering under the sunlight. I am not sure whether was the sunlight or the amulet itself, but it shines brighter than usual.

After few minutes later, I saw Quentin(Huskymudkipz),Jerome and Mitch(Banjancanadian) came in, later Ssundee,Kermit and Seto.They all sat down and looked at me and Deadlox. 

'Are we missing someone? Where is Sky?' Quentin asked.  

'I called everyone here to discuss this situation and about Jason's finding' Deadlox said.

Everyone stared at me and I began to explain what I found just now and I showed the amulet to everyone in the room.

'This is what I found in Sky's bed......' I said.

The room was quiet,no one dared to speak. After few minutes later, Deadlox broke the silence.

'Any plans, ideas or anything that can help the situation?' he asked.

'In this situation......first, we can't let anyone but us to know what happen to Sky.Especially Sky's fans, if any of them heard this, it will cause lots of trouble.......' said Quentin.

'I agree with the mudkip, we should keep this 'secret' among ourselves. Should we try and find Sky? Maybe there are clues inside his room!' said Jerome.

'But even we found the clues inside his room, where should we start our search? Minecraftia is big!' said Mitch.

Mitch got a point,even if we found the clues inside Sky's room, where should we start to find? The pressure was getting more intense and I felt my hands were getting hotter,which was quite strange.Even if I got scared, my hands won't feel hot at all, was it because of the amulet that I was holding? Maybe I should not hold it too tight....... 

'Jason, are you all right?' Ssundee asked.

'Yeah,I am fine.....just a bit nervous...' I replied.

'Why your hands are glowing? Kermit asked. 

Glowing?

I looked at my hands and I found lights shimmered arround them. I immediately let go of the amulet that I was holding with both of my hands and it fell to the table.The light that 'glowed in my hands' stopped and I found that the light was came from the amulet not from me! I let myself relax for a moment but later I was backed in business.

Why was the amulet glowed so brightly? Is there something we can do about it?

Everyone stared at the amulet, again no one spoke a word. Deadlox later broke the silence.

'Seto, since you are good at magic and some symbolic stuff, do you think you can explain what happened just now? Are there any symbols or something like that?' asked Deadlox. 

'Well......at this point, I might need to go to my library to find out books about amulet,this may need to take some of the time to find......' Seto answered.

'How long does it take?' Deadlox asked.

'It depends. My library is quite big and it may need to take one whole day to find, but it can be one and a half day as well......' Seto said.

'This may cause a problem......By the time we found out what happened just now, Sky may be dead at that time.....' Jerome said.

'Then what should we do? Is there anything we can do without the amulet? Should we start a 'blind search'? ' Ssundee suggested. 

'No, it is not wise enough,as Mitch said before Minecraftia is big, Sky can be anywhere.Also what if the amulet can help us? It may provide some sort of clue to find Sky!' Quentin said.

Quentin may be right and wrong at the same time,but I don't think we have much choice left to choose.Either we take a risk to find out the reason why Sky's amulet glow or watch Sky died.The amulet may be our only 'key' to find out where is Sky. I don't want my good friend to die! 

'Guys, he was right. Time is precious, Sky needs our help! Plus, we don't have much choice left so why don't we try and risk it?' I said.

'I guess we have no choice.......so is there anyone else may know about amulets?'Deadlox asked.

'I may know someone......who have an amulet as well.......' said Seto.

'Who is he?' I asked.

'Antvenom ' he finished.
